Bootcamp FAQ's
What is a bootcamp?

Bootcamps are group exercise classes that use a variety of equipment and layouts which differ class to class. Traditionally, bootcamps were seen as military style fitness however more recent times, these have evolved into having fun and whilst working out. They can be inside or outdoors.

Who is it for and why is yours different?

WattsFit Bootcamps cater for all individuals of any ability, over the age of 16. We adopt the more current style of having fun and working as a team! Form is key and the quality of work is much more important than the quantity. All of our bootcamps are outdoors.

I’m a beginner, will it be ok for me?

Our bootcamp is suitable for any level, whether a beginner or more experienced. Exercises can be adapted to suit your needs and the group is very welcoming. There is no such thing as being unfit – it’s your baseline and your fitness will only increase.

Will bootcamp get me into shape?

Like any exercise, consistency is essential! If you come to bootcamp / exercise regularly and eat right, you will feel the benefits and see the results- but it doesn’t happen overnight.
How do I pay?

A subscription can be set up on the website but there are a few other options including a free week pass so please get in touch.

What do I need to bring to bootcamp?
Yourself, water and layers if needed.

What should I wear for bootcamp?

Dress for the weather! It can be a little muddy in the wet weather so wear a pair of trainers you don’t mind getting mucky! Bring layers, especially in the colder months – it's always better to have them and take them off, rather than not have them and need them.

It’s raining, is bootcamp still going ahead?

Whatever the weather, we will be there (except lightning, being electrocuted wouldn't be fun)!

Is it Bootcamp or Boot camp?

Now that’s a good question……. I have always seen it as bootcamp, but according to the Oxford dictionary (yes I did just google it) its two words: Boot Camp!
